「台灣縱貫越嶺步道」（以下簡稱「縱嶺步道」）是一條起自富貴角，沿著高山稜線，最後終於鵝鸞鼻的長程登山步道。
「縱嶺步道」總長約七百多公里，受北美「太平洋屋脊步道」、「大陸分水嶺路徑」與「阿帕拉契小徑」所啟發。
目前步道的研究、探索、記錄、發展、維護等工作仍在一群熱心志工的奉獻下持續進行中。

Taiwan Peak-to-Peak Trail (TPTPT) is a long-distance trail tracing ridgelines and leading over the highest peaks in Taiwan from the northern to the southern tip of the island.
It is a route of over seven hundred kilometers à la the Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail, and Appalachian Trail in North America.
Research, scouting, documentation, development, and maintenance efforts are currently led by an informal collective of volunteers.
